Where it started

In 2011, Erik Zachariasen and Tom Fedog wanted to create value for energy and service companies that were looking to improve their completion and intervention operations.

The simple idea behind Stimline was to exploit knowledge and experience from digitalization of drilling operations and apply it to completion and intervention operations.

As software professionals with years of experience within the energy industry, they created the IDEX™ software.

Now, following the successful roll-out of IDEX CP within major IOC's, Stimline Digital has been born as a dedicated, focussed, software company.

Today, that foundation continues as part of SLB, extending the reach and long-term impact of the IDEX platform.

Equinor adopts IDEX Collaboration Platform for well intervention with the FLX team.

Shell adds rig-site execution commercialized as Performer on the IDEX Collaboration Platform.

AI capabilities introduced in IDEX
Advanced AI is launched in IDEX to help well engineers develop plans more efficiently, further strengthening decision support across well intervention workflows.

Stimline Digital is acquired by SLB, marking a new chapter for IDEX and expanding the platform’s potential through broader integration, global reach, and continued innovation.
